No. 22 Implants and Aesthetic Dentistry in West Kirby is an impressive venture. The boutique-style practice is a stunning space, it feels more like a luxury hotel than a dentist.

I first visited to photograph the space, then returned to photograph the staff. For the headshots, I wanted to capture the team’s blend of friendliness, professionalism, and genuine camaraderie.

The perfect smiles came naturally thanks to the relaxed atmosphere and teamwork: each person held the reflector for the next, and everyone helped make sure hair was behaving and embroidered logos and name tags were on show wherever possible.

I photographed everyone in the oval-lit corridor by a north-facing window, using a diffuser to keep the light even and a speedlight to gently fill in the shadows.

Simple but effective lighting, resulting in images that complement this excellent team of dental experts.
