Branding Photography for Rachel Peters, Ceramic Artist

Rachel Peters, ceramic artist, is having a moment. Her handmade stone vessels and sculptural forms have been exhibited all over Europe and are highly sought after. Her work, and her story are in demand.

Although Rachel is still using the images we created from our first branding shoot in 2021, she needed a refreshed set of visuals to showcase her current body of work and the evolution of her practice. She wanted new studio branding photography shots as well as environmental portraits for use in publications and exhibition brochures.

We planned the shoot in two parts. First, we photographed Rachel with her finished sculptures, creating portraits that highlight both her and the work. Then we moved into the studio to capture 'the maker in action'.
